Professional Timing System and Software

ProChip Timing System

Getting accurate results right after a race or training session can make all the difference to athletes. The MYLAPS ProChip Timing System is fast, reliable and easy to use. It identifies all the athletes and measures their exact start, finish and intermediate times. The system is optimized for a wide range of active sports, including cycling, running, triathlon, skating, swimming, biathlon and more.

RCScoringPro Software

RC Scoring Pro sets the new standard for AMBrc® scoring software. It has all the features you need to take your track’s events to the next level. You want to know who won last week’s race, and who had the fastest lap? Want to know what your pace was before you crashed? Want to know what your racing or practice lap times were last season? Want to see the 50 fastest practice laps today? Want to add a racer to the current race that is already running? Want to add racers into the race program from inside the hobby store with a wireless connection ? You can do all this with RC Scoring Pro.

The Location

ByGone Days

Bygone Days is a rich example of our Canadian Heritage thanks to Frank and Shirley Fisher.

In 1969 they began collecting Heritage items and farm equipment and opened Bygone Days Farm,  a place where farm animals could be viewed at close range.

In 1971 the location was named Bygone Days Museum.  By 1972, other buildings were added to show the growing collection of heritage items.

Now there are 30 buildings dating from the mid 1800’s. Each building is complete with authentic furnishings and artifacts.

We are thinking of using part of the building layout as a section of the track, can’t say I know anyone that’s raced through a town from the 1800’s before!

About our MC

Race Direction and Production: Joe Scully, ProRodeo MC

About Scully:

In Racing there are officials, timers, announcers and directors; while at major events there additionally are producers and DJ’s. At the Air Race Arena Showdown there is one: Joe Scully.
With a background of Rodeo and Motorsport Announcing spanning 13 States and 4 Provinces, exclusive accreditation and international industry awards, Scully brings engaging commentary, simultaneous sound effects and action soundtracks together in a polished style that entertains, educates and informs everyone from first-time spectators to seasoned participants.
That enhanced experience delivery was discovered by an RC Race promoter who integrated him into their programs and since, Scully has developed his scale motorsports experience to include race organization, managment, production and directing.  He was recently selected to direct the 2015 Canadian Indoor Offroad Shoot-out, the largest indoor 1/8 scale race in Canada, in addition to every major 1/5 scale event in Eastern Canada.
David French (@DroneFestCanada) discovered Scully on Twitter after seeing a viral video featuring multi-rotor aerial footage and of course, Scully. Together they have joined forces to bring you the Air Race Arena Showdown: Indoor Multi-Rotor FPV Competition.
